The Spot Lighter: Superhero stories and character designs installment 9

Today, I will be continuing the superhero stories. tomorrow is the the first day of august which means that I will be taking on the august art challenge. Catch up on the first installments before reading this one, or you won’t understand what’s going on.

From the notes of Oliver Adamson, AKA Boreas: It’s been a crazy month. We’ve been tracking the figure in white, but to no avail. We recently came into contact with a shady woman who gave us this… thing. It has one eye and green skin, and she calls it the Spot Lighter. it attaches to the head, and projects a path to whoever we want to find. We didn’t like it, but we were desperate. I drew the short straw and had to put the thing on my head. I don’t like this at all. fighting off dragons on the way is even worse. According to the Spot Lighter, we have to move to the mainland. To Venezuela.

This time around, I wanted to create a character that didn’t fit in with the semi human characters. I used orange to contrast Boreas’s suit and give a feeling of unease.
